I was watching the news and I know that the most important thing is that everyone that lived there made it out alive (besides a family pet), but I could not help but feel just terrible that a bride and groom who are getting married NEXT WEEKEND lost everything in their apartment including ALL of their decorations, wedding gifts, her dress, money taken out of the bank for payments.
I cant imagine having to start from nearly scratch one week before the wedding, not to mention losing your home. I think that puts some of my stressful moments in perspective. I kind of feel silly about being stressed this week that a few things are not working out how I wanted them and I have nearly 5 months.
Lets all hope that their friends and family rally around them and are able to help them. Maybe all their vendors will be understanding and help them out a little somehow.
