Cabo San Lucas

Looking to go to Cabo for our honeymoon in June.  Has anyone been?  I don't really know anything about Cabo but we won a free hotel stay.  I'm also looking for some fun excursions to do!

We won a hotel stay at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica which apparently is like a 10 minute cab ride away from the marina and downtown.  So we booked that for our honeymoon.  I wanted to try out different excursions and I've read good things about the Cabo San Lucas Tours, so I think we are going to go on a few of those excursions.  I've also read about different restaurants and we definitely don't want to stay at the hotel the entire time.  So I think we will be downtown a lot.  Is the mall downtown?  So the information you gave me is great!  I've also heard good things on Maro's Shrimp Restaurant and another one...Pancho's I think.  I'm glad you said it's a safe place to walk around, I was hesitant about that, but I figured that Cabo is such a high tourist area, it would be safe...but you never know!

Do most places in Cabo take American money, or is it a good idea to exchange most of our money for pesos?  I'm assuming most places take credit cards as well.  What about the airport, I've read some stories about people being hounded at the airport by timeshare people.  Do most of the resorts have filtered water?
