Just back from Hawaii!

I left Hawaii yesterday and am already yearning to go back! We stayed at the Hyatt in Maui and on Kauai. I found this board so helpful as I planned my trip, so if you have any questions please ask! I hope this is able to help some of you planning on Hawaii honeymooning. Some of our highlights:On Maui:-Mama's Fish House dinner at sunsent-Old Lahaina Luau-Snorkeling at the crater-walking the 'hotel' beach patch at kannapali to eat different places than just our resortOn Kauai:-sunset dinner at Beach House Restaurant-Napali Coast Catamaran tour (although, not the best for those that get seasick easy. The sea was a rough ride back but fun!)My favorite part of this island was that we really kicked back and enjoyed the hotel pools and lounging areas. Both Hyatts were amazing to us. We receieved complimentary chamapgane for honeymooning. On Kauai we were given free dessert and a free lagoon side cabana. These added perks just helped make our celebration even more memorable. :)

Re: Just back from Hawaii!

  • I'm so happy you were able to go to Mama's Fish House and Old Lahaina Luau.  Maui will always have a special place in my heart.  I think it's the most wonderful place on the planet - I was so relaxed there, I didn't want to come home.
  • On Maui, we snorkeled the crater with Pacific Whale Foundation. They were pretty good but I think they talked a bit too much (or at least the captain we had did).We used Capt. Andys out to the Napali coast and I would highly recommend them based on our experience. You will have a fabulous honeymoon on these islands :)
  • Who did all of you book your trip through? We are looking to go to Hawaii and are trying to narrow down our searches. We want to go on a 4-island vacation. Thanks :)

  • We didn't book through a travel agency, just did it all ourselves.
