St. Regis Bora Bora

Hi - does anyone have any feedback on what this hotel is like for honeymooners?  Thanks

Re: St. Regis Bora Bora

  • Check out www.tripadvisors.com in their Bora Bora Forum. This kind of question gets asked a lot as couples try to decide between St. Regis and the Four Seasons. We went with the Four Seasons because I just plan love The Four Seasons, and we got a deal on the overwater bungalow w/ plunge pool.St Regis does have bigger bungalows but I believe the food is better at the Four Seasons. I also liked the layout of the Four Seasons bungalows as their bathtub has windows that open up to the water. Either place is going to be spectacular though:)
  • I just have to say I have never been there but there are 2 words that never sound bad together and that is ST. Regis and BOra Bora, sounds amazing to me but I agree tripadvisor.com is great.

  • Thanks!  I also heard they filmed the movie Couples Retreat at the St. Regis.
  • Both are RIGHT next to each other in the lagoon and face the mountain. You have the same water color at either resort (not much fish activity though so you will need to go somewhere else to do more of your snorkeling)Both have huge OWBs and look very luxurious. St. Regis offers a shuttle into the main town of Vaitape, I don't think the Four Seasons does.
  • I NEED A GOOD TRAVEL AGENT FOR THE FRENCH POLYNESIAN!!! Anyone?????????
  • Allison- I know it's been a few days since you posted, but if you're still looking for a TA for French Polynesia, I can highly recommend Caroline@EasyEscapesTravel dot com. Caroline's a nestie who is also a specialized FP travel agent. We're using her for our Fiji trip and she has been so prompt to respond, answers all my questions and was able to beat our lowest quote from another TA. LOVE HER! http://travelprincessatl.blogspot.com/
