Low Season/ July/ US

Are there any parts of the US that are in the "low season" during July? (Specifically the end of July)

Re: Low Season/ July/ US

  • My guess would be Florida (hot/hurricanes) and some ski areas... maybe Colorado or Utah?

  • Florida is actually HECTIC (at least the Disney area) during July! Huricane season starts in August, and even then people chance it. I dunno what isn't particularly busy, but I just wanted to pop in and let you know that Disney is crazy!
  • actually hurricane season starts June 1.In general July is prime travel season because kids are not in school.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Phoenix & surrounds, AZPalm Springs, CABoth have lots of gorgeous resorts that run some amazing specials that time of year due to the very high temperatures. If you don't mind HOT weather, either area could be a very good value in July!
  • Sedona, AZ.  It's very beautiful (it's called red rock country due to the red and orange mountains).  120 miles north of PHX.
  • Thanks so much! I will be sure to check it out.
