Italy Tuscany Agritourism

ADVICE PLEASE!!! I'm trying to find a place to stay in Tuscany (Montalcino, or Chianti areas-South or central) that is a winery and active vineyard (agritourism). Can anyone recommend a place? We will have our own car. So far my #1 pick is Villa Vignamaggio in Greve Chianti, Il Banfi is WAY too expensive. Please if you have recommendation, info on the room, breakfast, etc

Re: Italy Tuscany Agritourism

  • have you checked karenbrown.com? she has a FANTASTIC section on tuscany. we're going to florence and chianti next year for 10 days (then a week in sicily) and her site was super helpful. my father recommended it to me as he's stayed at 15 of the properties on the site and swears by it.
