Anyone been and can recommend a place to stay? Know anything about the Royal Palm Beach Resort or Divi Little Bay Beach & Racquet Club? Thanks so much :)

    I went there for 10 days back in 2003, so this is old info. Anyway, we stayed on the Dutch side in a small hotel sort of in the main area... can't remember the name, but it used to be a plantation or something. It was nice, but not really a HM type place. Anyway, we really preferred the French side. Marigot was really cute! If I ever went back, I'd stay there. Also, make sure you rent a car... you can drive the entire island easily with one!

    I am going to stay in St. Maarten for 2 nights of my honeymoon before going to St. Barts in December. Obvioulsy I havent been yet, but we are staynig at L'Esplanade in Grand Case on the French side. it is a small hotel, but the reviews are wonderful.
