    Highly recommend.  Have been there 2x and had a great time.  The beaches are wonderful, you can walk for miles, and the water is calm.  I didn't really stray much from the resort, so not sure about the shopping and all that.

    A few years ago did a swimming with nurse sharks excursion and it was amazing!  Very safe, and fun.

    I stayed at the Ocean Blue Resort and the Palladium.  I liked the Ocean Blue more for whatever reason.

    Plus, it's sooo cheap to go there.  I say go for it!

    I would recommend it! I got engaged in PuntaCana so I will always be partial. We stayed at the Edehn Real Arena. We went in Sept of 08 and the resort just opened up that March so it is fairly new. Great beach, intimate setting, staff was very friendly and helpful. There weren’t a lot of kids running around and the food was excellent! HTH
