Hawaii?

I'm looking into a 10 day honeymoon in Hawaii, but have no idea where to begin! Our budget is approx $4000, any tips? We're looking for a place with great beaches and fun nightlife. There's just so much out there. Thanks!

Check out the Hawai'i Revealed series of books! Then choose an island (or two) to narrow it down. My favourite combination is Maui and the Big Island.

We went to Oahu for 3 days and Maui for 7 days from New Jersey for around that budget (not including food and excursions).  We stayed in the Marriott Waikiki beach on Oahu.  There are bars and restaurants everywhere so there is a good nightlife.  Maui was much quieter and relaxing and a nice balance.  We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kaanapali which was beautiful.  Everything was booked together in a package through our travel agent (air, hotel, car).

We are flying from Pittsburgh to Hawaii-going to Oahu for 4 days, Maui for 6 days, and have booked 3 excursions for the price of your budget.  Check around, decide where you want to go, and then find the best prices.  Good luck!

I booked mine through a TA-Rhonda with VIP Vacations.  She's been a dream to work with.  She's help with booking the flight, car, hotel, made some great recommendations and helped to stay in our budget.  She gets back to me every time I have a question whether it's stupid or not:-)  I highly recommend her!

We went to Maui (1 week) and The Big Island (1 week) for $4,800 for our HM this past Sept. This price included airfare from Buffalo, NY, interisland flights, condo and Mustand convertible on Maui and Hilton Hotel  and 4X4 Jeep on Big Island.
We got a great deal and the Hilton included breakfast and parking.
We booked everything through AAA - Pleasant Holidays.
We had not problems and loved out trip!
