SAINT LUCIA APRIL 2011

Hi Knotties!

We are planning a honeymoon in Saint Lucia in April 2011. We want to book 4 nights at a Sandals resort, and 5 nights at the Stonefield villas and resort on the other side of the island. Does anyone have any recommendations about the most economical way to book? Travel agent? alternative website?
Thanks for your help!

Re: SAINT LUCIA APRIL 2011

  • We used Nancy from www.myislandgetaways.com for our TA. She arranged our helicoptor transfer, private dinner on the beach and got us a great room upgrade at Sandals Regency. There were alot of things we would have not known about and she provided us with great tips and good price.I am not familiar with the other resort but we loved the Regency!
  • I'm going to Sandals in St Lucia in August-- we booked ours right on the Sandals website. But if you're having mutliple places, maybe a travel agency might help
  • We stayed at Sandals regency. The room category prices were a little cheaper than the grande. We booked it all through Nancy at myislandgetaways.com , she was fantastic and I would def. use her again. Good luck, you will have an awesome time there!

  • We are also going in April 2011 and we used a travel agent.  We used Elise with beach bum vacations.  She is awesome!

  • We booked right on the website for the sandals regency st. lucia.... It was pretty easy!
  • My FI and I are staying at the Sandals Grande in November. We used a travel agent but she is a close friend of ours. It just made things easier and we didnt have to pay a commission. I can't wait!!!
  • ditto with Nancy at my island getaways...I booked the Sandals Grande St. Lucia with her and she was the best!!!!

  • Best way to book Stonefield is to call them directly. They're small & they prefer to talk to the people who will be staying with them.

I highly recommend a travel agent. We are in the process of pricing and our agent is at least $300 cheaper every time versus the Sandals website. Contact me if you'd like her info. She's in colorado, but can work with anyone over the phone or email.
