So we were planning to go to Ireland in May, but it is so expensive and neither of us have ever left the country before and I don't want the excitement of being in a new place to get in the way of finally getting to be married (we've been together almost 4 years and we haven't lived together or had sex
). FI would settle for a smaller destination, but he wants to leave the country and he doesn't seem to be interested in cruises or island vacations.
Do you guys have any ideas for something simpler and closer than Ireland so if we end up in the room the whole time we won't feel like we missed out?
