After countless searches of destinations, I believe that Costa Rica is where I really want to go for the honeymoon. I am a nature lover and the volcanoes, natural forests and array of activities all appeal to me. Plus they supposedly have some of the best spa resorts. My problem is that I would be going the first week of October (next year) and I am getting mixed reviews as that is the peak of their "rainy season." Some websites say the showers are minimal and very light, other accounts are that it is pretty bad and makes outdoor activities impossible. Anyone been at that time of year? If that is a bad idea, are there any other places with a similar atmosphere where it is actually nice in October?
