Secrets Resorts -- Dress Code

Hi Ladies!

    The new hubby and I are leaving for our honeymoon to Secrets Silversands on Friday and are just beginning our packing.  We are not sure as to what the dress code is at Secrets resorts and would appreciate any advice.

     I understand that there is a brief description on their website, but we are looking for a bit more advice from anyone who has stayed at a Secrets resort.  It seems like there are more restrictions on men than women.  How strict is the dress code and what did your fiance/husband where when he went there?  TIA!!

We went to Maroma Beach last September and my FH mostly wore polos and jeans... He did pack a pair of khakis and a pair of dress pants... and a few button downs... but I don't think he wore them (probably wore the khakis once or twice).  I wore sundresses most of the time for dinner.  Have fun!  We loved it!

The description on the website best describes what is appropriate attire at the resort.  The resort tries to stick to this dress code but they can be flexible.  I would tell your husband to pack long pants, (this can include jeans) a button down shirt and some casual shoes.  You can pack a few sundresses and some nice pants, and you’ll be fine.  Hope this helps!
