Hey,I was just wondering how long Hubert told you it would take for your photos compared to how long it was before you actually got them. I'm so anxious but I don't want to start bothering them yet because I know they're super busy...haha.

The contract says 2-8 weeks. It took 7, probably because it's summer and he's s busy right now.

That is way too long in my book, they should take no more he 2-3 weeks even in the busy season!

Actually 2-8 is reasonable. I have several friends that used other photographers and it took a few weeks to get a few teaser pics posted online and then it took MONTHS before they got them... like 3-6 months. Now I think it's kinda crazy if it takes that long. Considering how Hubert does a lot of editing and they've pretty much had back to back weddings and engagement sessions since the spring, it'll probably take time. He promised us our engagement photos within 4 weeks (usually within 2 but he said he was backed up because of weddings) and he got them to us in 3.

I didn't mind the 7 week wait, but 2-8 weeks is a huge window and I had to ask him for more specifics. When I asked him if it depended on the season, he said of course. HK is booked almost every weekend through October, so I really appreciate that he got them to us in less than 2 months.

8 weeks for completed, edited photos is not bad at all. I'd rather they take their time than do a rush job just to get them in time. Like PP said, Hubert and Alka look at and edit ALL their photos...they don't just upload the entire contents of their camera online, untouched, like some photographers do. But I'm not really surprised weddingfairy is here to say something negative about HK...At our wedding, he told us 5 weeks and I just got in touch with him yesterday and he said they should be done by the end of this week, which I was surprised/happy about considering how busy they've been.
