E-Session locations

Hi Ladies - I was wondering if you had any suggestions for an indoor e-session location. We are going to do some outside, but since it will be winter, we were hoping to do some inside. We're in the Cheshire/New Haven area, but are not opposed to traveling. I'm thinking something rustic, homey feel. Nothing fancy! Our photographer is thinking of some ideas as well, but you ladies know everything!!! TIA

We did pix in New Haven, at Lighthouse Point and around Yale, and the Yale Art Museum.  It was on one of the coldest days in March.Pix are in my blog if you want to see.

how about taking pics at your house, FIL, parents, friends ect. Someone who has a nice fireplace... kinda neautral furniture... it doesn't have to be the perfect model home but just somewhere that has a couple nice pieces of furniture that you can use.. you'll be surprised but maybe your place or your parents place might be the perfect place to shoot. - Photographers look at things I think differently then we do.. they see a fireplace and although there might be clutter or random stuff around the rest of the room they know how to position you and shoot from an angle that will just capture the precise angle they're looking for. How about also maybe a local cafe? ... there's one in NH I used to go to years ago - I think they renamed it but it used to be called 'Cozi's'..it's right near the yale book store. The only rustic place I can think of is The Grassy Hill Lodge in Derby - I had my sister's bridal shower there 3 yrs ago.. Martha the owner is really nice, maybe she'll let you shoot there.. they haven't been busy lately. HTH.
