Hi ladies!

Has anyone ever been to Dreams Resorts in Mexico (preferably in Riviera Maya/Tulum) We're looking into that for a possible honeymoon destination and wanted to see if anyone has any praises/rants about them??  or knew anyone that went....

We were also interested in staying at Dreams Tulum but then I went to Trip Advisor and read the reviews. Reviewers said that it was like a wedding factory and that the receptions would close down some of the restaurants and interfere with events. Also, kids are allowed in the swim up bar and they said that there would be straws in the pool and kids sitting at the bar. They also said that there would be nothing to do at the resort after 8. We are now looking into an adult only resort in Playa del Carmen. I'm thinking about the Royal Playa del Carmen right now but still researching. Good luck!

I have been to a few Dreams Resorts, including Tulum, and they are all great.  If you are considering Dreams Tulum, you will not be disappointed. It’s located on a beautiful beach and the resort offers lots of great activities to choose from.  Some of my favorite activities were snorkeling, the Spa be Pevonia, kayaking, windsurfing, dance lessons, the fire and drum show, movies on the beach and the cooking demonstrations.  It’s also located near some great historical ruins like Tulum, Coba, Xel-ha and more.  The tour desk is really great at helping book excursions.

 

The food is also amazing at any of the gourmet restaurants.  I think you and your hubby would enjoy the Bordeaux Restaurant because it’s adults-only and very romantic.  I hope you enjoy your vacation!
