When we first got engaged, I kept saying again and again that I'd rather have a small wedding so we can go on a honeymoon together (and my fiance agreed). But the costs for the wedding keep on adding up, and we're spending so much $ that now we can't afford to go on a honeymoon. SO BUMMED. We're paying for the wedding ourselves, so it's tough.
And on top of that, my best friend just got married and came back from their AMAZING honeymoon in St Martin, and my other best friend is going on a honeymoon after they get married, for a 2 week caribbean getaway. So jealous!!!! I wish we could start our newlywed life together somewhere special!
Ugh.
Instead, we'll be getting married and then going back home. Haven't had a vacation together in 2 yrs, to top it all off.
Ok thanks for letting me vent.... lol
