Dreams Los Cabos or Puerto Vallerta HELP!

Anyone ever stayed at either?  Is it more geared towards families?  We like to relax and drink and some have said these are more family resorts, but I really love the Dreams resort.  See we originally wanted to go to Sandals in St. Lucia, but we are getting married during prime hurricane season so we decided Mexico would be our best bet.  The Dreams resorts seem to be the most like Sandals.  Also, I know some other AI have other locations in Mexico, but we need to be on the west side of Mexico to stay away from the hurricanes.  Any help or feedback regarding these resorts would be wonderful!

I haven't personally been to Dreams Los Cabos, but my boss has been and speaks VERY highly of it. 
He recommended it for our honeymoon, however it is a family resort and we wanted something that was adults only.

Hmm I went to Playa Del Carmen for a wedding in October and the weather was perfect.  I've been to quite a few Mexico places and this was my favorite.  We stayed at The Royal in Playa which is an all-inclusive Adults Only.  Just a thought.

Playa Del Carmen is on the 'hurricane side' of mexico.  Our friends are going there, but they are not in prime hurricane season like is.  We are in Sept and it's just too risky.

I'm in September too and that's where were going.
I'm not going to let "hurrican season" decide where we should go on our honeymoon.  It's one week, so how likely is it that a hurrican will actually happen?

Get trip insurance if you're that worried about it.  Crappy weather can happen anywhere.
