Mariella's in Wethersfired

I'm hoping that we don't have to use their seamstress because they are so expensive. So, has anyone not used their seamstress?

I went there to look at dresses but didn't buy because I was uncomfortable with their consultant.

<div>I was uncomfortable with mine also. I actually left before my appointment was over because I was frustrated. It wasn't the Mariella experience I was hoping for. I do want to go back because they have lots of designers I love that other salons do not carry. I just don't know how to say I'd rather work with another person. She just seemed soo bored... she wasn't a very upbeat person. The other consultants seemed nice though.</div><div>What city are you from? Elizabeth's Creations does reasonable alterations and she's very good - she used to design wedding gowns. </div>

I worked with Sonya and she was fabulous! My MOH also used her when she got married a few years ago.  I highly recommend requesting her.

DITTO! Mariellas was the worst experience I had in wedding dress shopping, and I'm glad to hear I wasn't the first. I've heard so many bad experiences- especially with the way they order and the sizing. Just be careful!

i really enjoyed my time at Mariella's!  They are family owned and are extremely honest.  I think this is helpful - i could see where some people might be offended. but they've seen every dress on ever body type - i valued there opinion.

i ended up ordering a casablanca dress there and i am so excited! i am having all my alterations done there as they are know for excellence.  i'd be afraid to take it somewhere else just to caught costs. one thing i'm not willing to risk is my dress!

I worked with Sonya when I was looking for gowns and LOVED her.  She was great!  I just went to my first dress fitting this past Monday and was not in love with the seamstress who helped me.  She seemed very nervous and when we were fitting me for bras to go under my dress she was very strange.  I was trying to ask her opinion and went to take off the bra with her in the room to try on another, and she literally gasped and told me to please wait to undress until she had left the dressing room.  I;m worried that she won't be able to fit me properly since she wouldn't touch me and help me find the right fit in my bra...

My consultant was such a bitch.  She scolded my MOH like a child and i had to put her in her place.
