HELP! Choosing a cruise line...??

We are attempting to book a cruise for our honeymoon. I have no idea what cruise line to choose - I've heard that Royal Carribean is great and I've heard that Carnival is not so great. Any ideas or tips? I've heard that some offer extra perks for honeymooners... while others don't really. It's so overwhelming!

After researching all of the different cruise lines - we went with Royal Carribean - The Majesty of the Seas. With the time frame that we have (I teach and have to be back to work 9 days after our wedding) that cruise line worked out the best. But thanks to your site - we were able to easily decide between which ship we wanted! Thanks so much!!!!

We just booked a hm cruise on Celebrity Solstice. It was between that, princess, and the NCL epic for us. For our time frame, princess was twice the price of the other two for a balcony. I've heard lots of good things about RCL, it's just more kid friendly than we wanted.

I would never cruise anything but Royal Caribbean!!!
Have cruised with them 3 times (got engaged on our last cruise!

) and everytime we pull into a port, I am blown away by how much nicer our ship is than any other!
They truly are 1st class all the way!

Good choice... I love RCCL. I have cruised with them over 10 times and have another 2 planned for this year. As for perks for honeymooners on cruises... you really don't get any. Our TA had our room decorated really nice though so that was a huge surprise.

This morning my FI and I booked a 7 day cruise from New York to Bermuda on the Norwegian Gem. I have a feeling you can't go wrong with any luxury cruise line. We knew we wanted to go to Bermuda and Norwegian is the only cruise line which offers a Bermuda cruise that departs the day after our wedding, so it was just the most convenient. Be sure to splurge on a good room because this is one vacation where the quality of the room matters ;-)
