How much is a simple bridal bouquet?

We're getting married in June and looking just to have a bridal bouquet made for me with ivory roses and hydrangeas - any ideas?  I have been quoted $100 and $120, but in my mind something so simple should cost less.  Or maybe I should just do it myself.  Any thoughts?  TIA!

That's actually pretty good for a price. Have you gotten a quote from stop and shop? usually they are half then a standard bridal florist.

S&S was the $120.  Local floral shop was less, which surprised me!

Wow! That's totally shocking! Yikes!  I've never heard of that before.

I was going to say that's a good price! Especially for those kinds of flowers! My boquet was all roses and it was around 125.

Ok...everyone I had spoken to told me that those aren't seasonal so they should be no problem.  Maybe Glastonbury S&S is crazy! haha

Agreed. Mine was $140 and there was a little bit more to it so I would think that you have some pretty good prices.  But I would def recommend going to an actual florist rather than S&S... especially since it's cheaper!

Mine is going to be ivory roses and hydrangea, plus some berries and greenery.  I believe my quote was $90

I don't know much about flowers, but I do know that pink hydrangeas are the most expensive. I had thought that all hydrangeas were cost effective since they're common and fill up a lot of space, but my florist explained that the pink ones are actually rare and therefore cost a lot. Not sure if that helps you, but thought I'd share the knowledge!

Had no idea!  I was thinking either white, green or blue, so luckily no pink!  Thanks for sharing!

I'm using Blossoming Blessings and I think she's in Wallingford.  Sweetest lady and she really worked with my budget since I told her I only had hundreds, not thousands, for a flower budget.  I'm not a big flower girl b/c I get mad they are so expensive and then just die within a week, so she helped me pick some tasteful and simple centerpiece options.

Sorry, just pulled out my quote sheet to be sure and it's actually $95.  She also was the only florist I found that was willing to deliver my somewhat small order so that I didn't have to pick it up myself!
