David Butler Photography?

Hi girls! Anyone ever use David Butler Photography in Somers, CT?  Any reviews/thoughts?  Thanks!

We used him for our July 3rd wedding.  SUPER nice guy - I thought he was going to be flaky because he didn't ask us for any info until just a week or so before the wedding, but he was on top of everything.  Our hotel was in the middle of unexpected renovations and it was pouring outside, and he somehow managed to get tons of great formals despite the obstacles.  We got our final disk of photos within about 6 weeks or so and I was thrilled with how they turned out!  He caught so many wonderful moments and the photos really took me back to how I was feeling that day.

You probably have chosen your photographer by now, but I literally just googled Butler Photography specifically so I could give him a 10 star review. Yes, not 5, but 10!! I had a lot of absolutely wonderful vendors for our wedding his past June and David still blew them out of the water. He shot my sister's wedding October of 2010 and when I saw her images I was amazed. For both of our weddings he stayed an extra 2 hours into the reception at no extra charge just because he wanted to keep taking pictures - and they came out so beautifully. One friend actually said he could "hear" the pictures, he capture the day so well. Sadly it rained on our wedding day but he made the most of it, finding amazing alternatives to outdoor pictures, which ended up being some of my favorite shots. He had his favorite shots posted to his blog avout a month later (it was busy season so it took a little longer) and mailed us a personalized disc of all the images about 7 weeks after the weddig. He continues to be so easy to communicate with 6 months later - we finally ordered our prints and he drove to my house and hand delivered them, 2 days before Christmas! And overall he is just such a kind man. I would 100% recommend Butler Photography!
