12-passenger limo in CT????

Does anyone who’s getting married or got married in CT recently know anything about a 12-passenger vehicle (preferably not a party bus) for wedding transportation? Apparently no one has a 12-passenger limo!!! I would really like to avoid two limos!!! HELP!!!!

    I was having the same issue. Not sure where you are getting married in CT, but I am using Top Class Limo. They are not in CT, but they are right over the NY line in Yonkers. I believe they have both 12 and 14 passenger SUV limos. http://www.topclasslimo.com/wedding.php

    Try Gateway Limo I am not sure if they have 2 passenger but I know they had a lot of different options...

    Your problem is that supposedly 12 and up are illegal in the state of CT. I heard that through the grapevine so it might not be entirely true, but that's why you have to go over state lines to find one that big.

    I did not have a limo for my wedding, but in looking into limo companies because I had to rent a town car for my mother and brother to get them to the wedding, I heard the same thing through the grapevine.

    Ditto, we had to rent two because of this. Not sure the exact law/rule but it seems pretty standard--we called three different places.

    I booked either a 12 or 14 passenger limo from Joshua's Limousine (can't remeber the exact number but it was definitel bigger than 12) and I never ran into any legal issues in CT. http://www.joshuaslimousine.com/

    Previous posters are correct - per DH's friend who is a chauffeur, they are illegal.  The limit is 10 - and that total includes the driver.  Hope this helps!
