NWR: Recommendation for dinner tonight in Fairfield area

Good Morning Ladies!

Hope everyone is ready for Turkey Day! -Gooble Gooble- Laughing

My FI and I are planning on going out to dinner tonight in Fairfield (since my house is crazy the night before the holiday so we have decided to escape LOL Tongue out).  So we decided that we would like to try some place new tonight in the area (Fairfield/Bridgeport)...so I thought I would ask you lovely ladies if you had any recommendations for a good resturant in the area that we could try!

Thanks ahead of time!  And have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

hmmm DH and i used to live down there....here's some of our favs...

upscale-ish:  centro (Italian...in ffld center), the dressing room (westport), rizzutos (in saugatuck), Barcelona (in the Hi Ho Motel)

casual: La Salsa (on the post road...effing AMAZING fresh mexican and cheap!), Viva Zapata (in saugatuck), Joe's (also on the post road), Chef's Table (again, post road), SBC in southport, pepe's (although nothing beats the new haven one!), Ash Creek Saloon (bridgeport), Vazzy's (bridgeport), Coyote Flaco or Taco Loco (both in bpt)

if you want something different, layla's falafel on black rock tpke is awesome.  there's also an indian place next to it that has great food (i think its called Tandoori Kitchen or something like that)

if you're willing to go a bit farther, the fat cat pie company in norwalk is great...

I second Rizzuto! The food is great and not too expensive. I think we've been there at least twice a month since it opened. There is also Via Sforza with great pizza!

I love Ralph and Richies in downtown Bridgeport.  Though it will be crazy around there tonight because there is a hockey game in the arena.
