Riverview Brides/anyone whose attended there

Hi Ladies--

So my FIance and I have been discussing the option of having our ceremony at the Riverview. However, I haven't seen much photo's of ceremonies there. I'd KILL to have it outside under the tent, but we are having our wedding Nov 24th-- the tents not up and it'd be too cold.

Anyone been to a wedding there and the ceremony was inside? Anyone know where photos are?

I haven't been to a wedding there, but we were considering it as our venue & went to check it out. The Riverview is gorgeous inside! I think having your ceremony there would be great--this is the only photo that seems to be on their site of an indoor ceremony:



but I'm sure it would be beautiful. All those windows are great, and they would set it up really nice. I say go for it!

We are having everything there and I can't wait. Do a google search of the Riverview and a bunch of photographer blogs should come up and you can see pictures. I looks nice and it's such a big space, so I think it really works.

I live right around there and often go walking the trails to the venue..it is beautiful..inside and out!  I had my rehersal dinner right down the street from Riverview at Abigail's and it was amazing..such a beautiful area...

I attended a wedding at The Riverview in October 2011. The rooms inside are absolutely gorgeous. Tons of windows, chandeliers, high ceilings! The bride and groom did have their ceremony under the tent outside which was really nice. I work in Simsbury and I often go to Abigail's for lunch, their food is amazing and I think it would be a great place for a rehearsal dinner. The only reason I didn't choose Riverview to visit when looking for places is that I work right down the street for an insurance company....WAY too close to work for me!!!! But overall, it's really pretty there

IThey have a facebook fan page and they just posted some new ceremony pics a few days ago.  It looked really pretty. :-)
