What type of photography style are you looking for?

Our photographers are very artistic, which is exactly what I was looking for. They are a husband/wife team based out of Boston, but are willing to travel anywhere. Not only are they super talented, but they are some of the coolest people I've met All of their packages include full disk of pictures and a custom album. Check them out!

thanks for the suggestions. i'm not sure of the style, but I want more photojournalistic but with some portraits. We have a budget of $4500 and we're hoping that it's not an unreasonable budget.

you may be able to get Raw Photo Design within your budget...i can't remember what their bottom package price is, but they are awesome.  they might start at $4500, i can't remember honestly.

they were out of our budget...we used Robert Taylor Photography out of Stratford.  We did their base package, and it was $3250.

I am using Brooke Allison Photography. She is great and you get 2 photographers, all your pics, etc. for $2900.

I can't say enough about each of them, they're fabulous.  They're both more photojournalistic styles, but it was just what we were looking for.

We had a blast just talking to her for our first meeting, and really can't wait to have her as part of our wedding (a very important part) I believe her base package is within your budget, here's her website.

$4500 is a great budget!  If I had that much to dprnf I would defnitely hire someone better but not that I don't like my current photog

We're using Steve Blazo- he's not a well known wedding photog, but I got his name from another recommendation on this board. He takes amazing photos- and he's cheaper than the same skilled photographers and could get away with charging more. Since he's just starting out with weddings, his price is lower. We booked him back in April- so I'm not sure how his prices are now. His background is in advertising and modeling type photos. www.blazophoto.com.

We are using Val McCormick as well She's in your budget. Haven't done engagement pictures yet (gotta get on that) but all the work I've seen of hers is amazing. She does a lot of photojournalistic style photos but also plenty of potraits and artsy shots too. I can't remember exactly how much she is but when we book her a year ago she was under 4,000.

I found my photographer for $750 shes does really nice picutures and gives them to you on a disk so you can print out the ones your want or make a book. Shes on facebook under Heather Hudson Photography.

We've booked Catherine Fiehn Her website is http://www.catherinefiehnphotography.com Her photos look like they are out of a magazine and she does work for Miss America etc Her prices are right on her website so you can check to see if she is in your budget before you even contact her which I really liked because I totally wasted my time meeting with some that where out of my budget and not half as good quality IMO
