Waterview in Monroe

My fiancé and I are strongly considering the Waterview in Monroe for our wedding.  We wanted to know if anyone has had their wedding there and what they liked and disliked about the venue.  How was the food? How was the cake?  How was the service?  And anything else that might be useful.  Thank you so much!

We haven't had our wedding yet, but I wanted to throw in my 2 cents on my experience so far. Everyone at the Waterview has been very helpful and accomodating thus far. We added extras onto our package, and I have a lot of DIY projects that will need to be set up for our day, and they are willing to do whatever I need to make my vision come to life!


There are ladies on the board that have already been married, hopefully they can give you more details on the day of service. Good luck, and let us know what you choose!

I'm getting married there next year also and I was there for my friend's wedding a few years back. Also one of my ex-coworker got married there too. When I was there for my friend's wedding the food and the service were very good. Both of them had nothing but praises about the Waterview.

I got married at the Waterview back in August, and I loved it!  We got tons of compliments on the food.  As for the cake, the only bite I tried was the bite that DH fed me, but I remember it being pretty good.  It looked beautiful.  The staff there was really helpful and professional.  I definitely recommend.  If you have any specific questions, just ask!

I'm making menus, escort cards, various signs (guestbook, etc) bringing in centerpieces, a photo table of family wedding photos, decorations for the guestbook table and cake table, etc.

I could tell you after tomorrow, I'm going to a wedding there tomorrow. However, I am having my wedding at the Riverview same owners.

My best friend was married there (ceremony & reception) this past August.  She was very happy with everyone she worked with (Mandy & Hildi).  The food was really good, too. I don't really remember the cake, but everyone enjoyed the dinner.

I've been to a few weddings there and it is lovely.  No complaints, but I didn't have my wedding there.  I had mine at Candlewood because one of my main factors was a venue that has only one reception at a time and Waterview has a few.
