OK, ladies, my wedding was the 17th and it was amaaaaaaaazing!!! Just like everyone says, it flies by. One minute I'm waking up (before the sun came up because I couldn't sleep) the next minute I'm minutes away from my ceremony - yikes!
I got married in Newport so I had CT and RI vendors so I'll post just my CT vendors here and RI vendors on the RI board.
Dress: Mariella's - A
I was unsure at first because the day I went for my first appointment it was so busy and I felt a bit disorganized. I ended up finding my dress and loving it. I checked a couple other places but went back there for my dress. My fittings all went pretty smoothly, although I think they could've ordered the dress a bit smaller so I didn't 'have to get so many alterations. I was swimming in the dress at first yet the sample size fit me pretty good when I was trying dresses the first time. I think they try to make money off of you that way, I don't know. All in all a good experience.
Invitations: Paper Station in Newington - A+
This is a small place so probably doesn't have as wide a selection as others but I found the perfect invitations and the service was great. They help you all the way through, make suggestions and my invitations came in early!
Makeup - Erin Infantino from Simply Gorgeous by Erin - A+++++++
I felt like I looked like a model out of a magazine. I LOVE working with Erin. I had her do my makeup before and loved her work then but she out did herself for my wedding. I'm of mixed race so finding a good artist who knows how to match my skin and pick colors that work on me is hard but she nailed it! Each photographer I looked into I asked them about her and they all had great things to say about her to. She's very calming to have around the day of the wedding. I plan on using her again and again for my corporate events and any head shots. Good makeup is a must in my book.
That's it I think for now. Thank you everyone for all of your help!!
