Bridal shower venue in New Haven area

Hi all!

I need some suggestions for having a bridal shower in the New Haven area.  It will be for around 25 people and hoping to keep costs under $20/person.  The shower is at the end of April.

  • Check out Biagetti's in West Haven. I've been to many parties there - baby shower, bridal shower, rehersal dinner, christmas parties- my parents even had an awesome college graduation party for me there in the spring. (Which is where my fiance proposed infront of all of our friends and family!)

I know for the nice sit down "family style" buffet (no stations- the food is brought to the table) it cost about $20 per person. Though for a bridal shower you could probably do a nice Brunch or a lunch there and I think that was about $15 a person. Definitely go check them out - the woman was very nice and helpful with planning and giving you all the different options they offer. Great service too - they even brought out a big bottle of very nice champaign as soon as they realized my fiance proposed!
  • My mom/sister had my bridal shower at Season's (Tradition's Country Club) in Wallingford. They had a mimosa punch and several different breakfast/lunch stations. The food was really good and the venue was great; my mom was really  pleased with how easy they were to work with.

  • I go along with what everyone said about Traditions.  We're actually having our reception there...the food is AWESOME and the staff is even more amazing!

If not, Union League Cafe is great but on the pricey side...it's in downtown New Haven.
