Catering?

I am getting married at Light House Point and have to bring in a full service catering company. It is so important to get great service, good food, and good price. I have a few places picked out... please let me know if you have heard anything.

1) Elements Catering
2) Coastal Gourmet
3) Jordan Catering

Thanks!

I've definitely heard people chat about Coastal.  I'm sure someone on here will pipe up about them.  I've also heard good things about Jordan, but DH and I personally had a HORRIBLE experience with them.  Plus, they turned out to be a good $5000 more than the caterer we went with for less included and they flat out refused to do a few simple things we requested, like do a plated salad w/ a buffet dinner.  They do have a good reputation though. (If you want the nitty gritty details, you can PM me your email and I can fill you in... no need to air it here.  There were just too many negative factors that drove us to choose someone else).

I was a Coastal Gourmet bride.  Loved them, guests raved about the food, found them very easy to work with.  I would highly recommend.

I was turned off of Jordans because they won't give you exact pricing until you meet with them, and I'm 2000 miles away. I've heard they're also over priced. I got estimates from the others, and they were both good. No other opinion on them as I couldn't try the food (again, 2000 miles). But I did end up throwing a curve ball into my final 3 by adding a 4th - Emily's Catering blew the rest of them out of the water, both in quality and quantity of options, professional service, responsiveness, and price. I highly advise checking them out, too!

I second Emily's Catering!  We are using them and their food and service is incredible and their price was in our budget too.

Krause catering, great food and even better price with Heidi Krause who manages everything like a wedding coordinator. I couldn't ask for better
