Hi Calindi:

I am not sure if you really sent them to me but your photographers wrote me a private message saying that. They offered me a package. 
Please do not send anyone.  I appreciate recommendations, I really do!! but this is not the way.

I accually got three different PM's from photographers here on the knot and it's kind of annoying.... I want to find my own vendors!. Thank You.

    Quickest way to NOT get booked?

    PMing brides on TK.  We've had a few photogs, DJs, and wedding planners creepering these boards lately.  Cut it out.

    Oh man, no I did NOT ask them to contact anyone!  Eeek....

    Ya know, the terms of service are pretty clear.  They're not allowed to do that.  Feel free to report whoever contacted you to TheKnot.

    To be fair, she's a bride herself (just got married) so I know she was on here for that.  I feel like it's a misguided marketing attempt, but yeah, I agree - if they had contacted me that way, I wouldn't have booked them.

    I emailed them and asked them not to use my name like that.  I am happy to refer them as they are excellent at their work and have great prices, but that's not very professional to contact you like that.

    agreed, so sorry we took that approach and it will not happen again. it was a bad move on our parts. we will admit that 100% and are very sorry to have ever brought Calindi into it. best of luck to you with your wedding planning. we do want the very best for EVERY couple out there.
