Help with day of transportation

I need some creative transportation ideas.  My ceremony and reception will be held at the same location, which less than 2 miles from my house.  I need to get my parents, bridal party, and myself from my house to that location, but limo companies that I've called charge a 4 hour minimum which is in the $400 range ... and I cannot justify spending $400 to travel 1.2 miles.  Any thoughts??

You can try to find someone who owns a old classic car that will drive that short distance, may take a few trips though. 

Here are some websites of antique car clubs in Connecticut.  Perhaps you can contact one in your town and see if someone would be willing to do that for that short time.

Depending on the style of your wedding, there's also horse and carriage rides. They have wagonnettes that would accomodate 12 people.

We're in a similar situation as you. My house, venue and church are all within 2 miles of each other. We just ended up getting a limo though for 3 hours. I think it was in the $400 range too. I know it's costly for only those few hours and we're going such a short distance, but why not, it's our wedding!

The horse and carriage ride sounds like an awesome idea!
