All inclusive honeymoons

Since we are budgeting so tight, I am thinking our HM might be postponed. I am kind of a "dummy" on the whole all inclusive deals. What is generally included and does anyone have any suggestions on good, inexpensive, all inclusive HM spots?

Re: All inclusive honeymoons

  • AI depends on where you stay.  At some places DH and I have had all food, drinks, and activities included.  At others, just non-motorized water sports are included while motorized require you to go off resort or pay extra.  We've also stayed at a few where local brands of beer, wine, and liquor were included but international brands were extra.

Do your research before booking because all-inclusive means different things at different resorts.

  • Ditto pp on the inclusions.  Your best price in terms of pricing will most likely be Mexico.  Our favorite is the Royal Cancun- it's adults only and all-inclusive.  All rooms have ocean views.  Highly recommended!  The Palace resorts (Check out Sun Palace) also include excursions if I remember correctly.

  • nikmorgan, under Community Links (look about halfway down this page in the blue section)  there is a link for wedding tickers, they walk you through it, easy as pie! good luck! Wink
  • Check out Couples. We are going there and got a helluva deal! For 12 days and it was only $5200. (normally it'd be double that though).

You can PM me for more info if you wanna know more :)

    Good luck!
  • You and your FI should consider Secrets Silversands.  It’s located in the Riviera Maya on a good beach.  The resort also always has pricing specials, so you should be able to get a good deal.  When you stay at Secrets Silversands, everything is included!  This means you’ll have unlimited premium drinks, a mini bar that is restocked daily, tons of entertainment, delicious gourmet meals and 24-hour room service.  Good luck with your decision!
