Naomi is booked!

I’ve used Naomi before and have become a fan of her work so I was hoping to use her for next June. Little did I know that Naomi along with her staff was going to be booked for next June. I’m speechless right now!!  They did call me back yesterday and offered me to be added to a “cancel list” for my date but I don’t think I want to wait till the last minute and find out that they could not help me.My mom and I were looking forward to working with her on hair and makeup. Especially, knowing that her team travels to the brides home.  It would be so much easier for us if my mom’s home is the one stop shop for “the girls”. (I’m giving the girls this options, not sure all of them will go for it.)I’ve looked online but can’t decide on who I should call for info. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking for someone who does airbrush makeup, bridal hair style and can handle at least 5 girls that would be interested in these services. pescadita

I used Dana Bartone Co for my wedding (Dana and Amy) and they were fantastic to work with and traveled to the hotel.  I have also worked with Beauty Entourage in a bridal show before and they are very good and also travel to you.

We are using Dana Bartone at my parents house for hair (Laura is doing it) and I had a trial for Dana to do my makeup. She did a great job but it just wasn't in my budget. They are great, professional but not stiff, very accommodating and travel too

I have heard of a few, Larrissa Lake, Keri Shea there is also Ivette Wellman I don't think Ivette does hair but she may bring someone along that does.

Ditto Dana Bartone! They did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup and they did my friends wedding this past weekend and they all looked amazing!

Highly recommend Beauty Entourage. Ashley ( the owner) is great with communication and can pretty much replicate any picture. I had a very large wedding party and they finished early! The girls on the team are all very sweet. They are doing  a showcase for future brides coming up soon. I went to the one last year and it ws great for ideas. Hope that info helps! GL!

Thank you for all of the tips. I ended up calling Dana last night and got pricing fom her but she seems epensive for traveling. I got quoted $90 for traveling into the Manchester area. Isn't that too much?

How did you girls decide on hwo to go with for make up? Was it based on recommendation? Pricing? Availability?

Back to making more phone calls today.

I think it depends on how far out they have to travel. I saw what I wanted for hair from a bride that posted her pics on the boards after her wedding. I emailed a few of the rec's on here but, Ashley from BE was the quickest to respond and she was the one that did that bride's hair I had seen.  So that helped me with my decision. I would say maybe look at the portfolios of some of the people your interested in to see if you like their work.
