David's Bridal Manchester

Bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal in Manchester and was wondering if anyone has had their dress altered there and what they thought about the work or just the experience in general.  Are their prices fair compared to other private businesses.  Thx ladies!

    I don't know about alterations at David's Bridal, but I do know of a great seamstress who is very reasonable in cost! Go see Barbara at Bridal Bells in Berlin!

    I bought mine at David's in Manchester, but I'm planning to find a private seamstress for the alterations - I've had bridesmaid dresses altered at David's, and they felt much more expensive to me then a private one.  Good luck!

    My sister had her alterations for her MOH dress quoted their for $195. Private seamstress did them for $100. (she needed extensive alterations due to her pregnancy)

    I have never used them personally, but I have heard good things about "Bustles and Beaus" ...it is on the line of Cheshire and Hamden - I think it is technically in Hamden. It's a smaller place so I would assume they are more customer-intimate than a large store like David's, and probably pay more attention to detail.
