I haven't stayed here, but we considered it.  We also ate several times at their restaurant, Mango Reef (which I recommend, good food and not as expensive as a lot of the places on the island).  We stayed at Villa Del Mar, which we loved.  The two resorts ended up being about the same price for us, but VDM was newer and more modern.  I think it would be a good pick!  Check out VDM as well, will probably be in a similar price range and very close in location.
