Activities in PuntaCana

For those of you that have gone to PuntaCana in the DR, did you do any excursions/activities or stick mostly to the resorts?

If you did do excursions, are there any that you would definately recommend?

    We did one of the Safari adventures and it was awesome. We got to go horseback riding through the country side, eat lunch at the top of this mountain with an amazing view and see different spots in the real PC. I recommend it!
