October 2011 Weddings

stress relief.

I get horrible migraines. I tend to get them during times of stress and such.I don't want to be tense and have a migraine the day of the wedding.


 I am wondering since we don't have money for a massage or anything  (saving for the honeymoon ,and for the wedding and all) What type of stress relief is there that is either inexpensive if not free...

    Exercise, yoga and whatnot.  Lots of water and LOTS of sleep. 

    Sidenote: you don't have one of your codes closed in your sig...it's throwing things off on your post I believe.  And I gotta say: hun, there is NO such thing as a perfect marriage.  You're going to get a lot of flack for that I'm afraid.

    Yeah the simple things in life help too...any hobbies etc.  Nice idea e.

  • Deep breathing (in through the nose, out through the mouth) in a quiet, darkened room works for me.

    (I'm actually getting a massage tomorrow, for the first time ever, and just in time - my back is killing me.).
  • Yoga! and I find curling up on the couch with coffee, cleaning or cooking/baking to be other great ways to expend pent up energy.

  • I always go with a nice herbal tea. The heat and smell always seems to calm my headaches down. Also figure if light makes them worse and if it does try to seek a quiet dark place you can relax in.

  • Love herbal teas also....oh god, takes me back to my single-days of a hot bubble bath, good book, candles and herbal tea..... 
  • oh that all sounds good but I love a glass of dry red wine added to that bubble bath
