Honeymoon - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise plus a resort??

Me and my fiance are thinking of doing a 7 day eastern Med cruise (Italy/Greece/etc), but we also want to stay at a resort for a 4 or 5 days either at the beginning of the honeymoon or after the cruise...we're getting married on 9/14/13. We are looking for a nice relaxing beach resort, all inclusive would work...does anyone have any suggestions on places??  I have seen some nice ones in Mallorca...just looking for some options...

from which ports does it leave and return to?

it leaves out of Venice. but we're open to flying from wherever we are to Venice

This is what we did for our honeymoon.  We flew into Rome, got the boat in cittiavechia and had stops in Sicily, Athens, Crete and Turkey.  After the cruise we spent 4 nights in Rome.  We enjoyed the cruise for the aspect of seeing many places all in one trip.  It was also nice to have planned excursions in each port.  Our favorite stop was Ephesus Turkey.  I'd definitely go back to Turkey another time.  The part we did not like about the cruise was the time at sea (boring) and that the boat activities were geared towards kids or older people.  But, I think the nicest part of our hm was the stay in Rome and sight seeing there.  We had a private guide a couple days which was great.  We stayed at the Boscolo Exedra which was nice, but not worth all the money.

I can't give you idas on resorts, but do it at the end of the cruise.  You'll be busy seeing a lot of places, and I think relaxing at a resort at the end will be a nice wind down.  Just my preference after our East. Med cruise
