I noticed your question about chicken. They have every and any kind of food you could want. Also, their policy is if they can do it, they will.  If you don't see chicken on the menu, just ask for it. 
As far as rooms go, the club is not worth it (we didn't and those we met who did regretted it) and swim up rooms are not private at all.  My suggestion is to get a higher floor (3rd or above is great). Our room ended up with an ocean view anyway, without paying anything extra. Room service is amazing and includes anything you can dream up.

I just posted about EPM minutes ago so check my post. OMG, I can't say enough about how great this place is!!!! We went there last summer & got a smoking deal because of the swine flu. We're taking our honeymoon at the end of this month so we searched high & low for a place that compared to EPM. I looked all over the Caribbean, Hawaii, South Pacific & nothing compared to EPM. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

My mom told me this weekend that the US has put out an alert recommending not to go to Mexico (with all the American killings happening) - is this scaring anyone? My parents will not stop telling us to go somewhere else...but I am SO in love with this hotel!
