Reception Attire

When it comes to choosing wedding attire most brides place most of their focus on the gown, wedding jewelry, veil, and shoes for the ceremony. While the ceremony is the most important part of having a wedding, brides should be careful to choose attire that will be comfortable for the reception as well. As a matter of fact, some brides have gone as far as changing into a completely different outfit for the reception. While keeping with the theme of the wedding, it is possible for a bride to maintain comfort and style during her wedding reception.

My reception dress is different than my ceremony dress, but our ceremony and reception are on different days.
  • I have a feeling I'm going to love my gown no matter what (whether it's comfortable or not) and you do only get to wear it for 1 day....so you better believe I'm wearing it ALL. DAY.  :)
  • For me, I can't see spending THAT much money on a dress to only where it for an hour or so.

  • I think that since I am going to spend a great amount of money on the dress I will just wear it all day just for one day.
  • Will wear the same dress all day, but might change into more comfortable shoes :)
  • I might change shoes but that is it!!!  I really want to get purple chuck taylors haha...but we will see if my dress allows for that.  I wouldnt do that if they are totally visible.
  • I'm wearing my dress all day!!
