Hi all!
My fiance proposed about a month ago, and I figured I'd stop by and introduce myself. We're both originally from MA, but are in the process of moving to Maine, where we'll have the ceremony & reception. My fiance is catholic & I'm jewish, so we're currently trying to figure out how to combine the two in the ceremony. We've picked our colors - plum & slate - and are aiming to have a vintage-style wedding. We've already started the planning process and are about to book our venue (!) for 7/6/2012. I've also started talking to DJs, photographers, and a local cupcake bakery (neither of us like wedding cakes very much). After we book the venue, I'm planning on sending out save the dates right away (magnets, maybe?) because 99% of the wedding guests will have to travel for the wedding.
