I have an AA wedding dress. I don't know who to go with:Judi in WP -or- AA streamstressPlease help make my decision.I have a few alternations needed--> Bust area, length needs to be brought up, and the dress is folding near the top of my stomach that should not be there.

If you're talking about AA in Altamonte (I think the seamstress' name is Marisol or Maricia), I have not heard good reviews about her. I actually have an AA dress that needs alterations too. I'll be watching this post.

Sorry girls--I just realized that I spelled "Steamstress" wrong. I meant "Seamstress". I guess that I what I get when I should be working--but I'm slacking instead.

I went with Judi who was awesome my first fitting.. it was just me and her in her shop and she made me feel comfortable and is changing my dress into a sweet heart neckline.. I'm getting the neckline changed, it taken in around the waist and bustled and its not that expensive (from what I've heard). GL!

I'm going with Judi also. I was in a wedding in June and she did an AWESOME job on the bride's gown and on the MOB's dress. I have my first appointment in 2 weeks - I'm excited!

I used Judi (both for my wedding gown and a BM dress for my friend's wedding last year) - as did my MOH and we were both very happy with her work. I expect to go back to her for BM dresses for future weddings

I would consider Jeanine. Can not beat her work, prices, turn around, and awesome attitude!

I used Judi for my wedding gown and 2 bridesmaids dresses. I love her... she did a great job & for me, her prices were really affordable!

So will these folks alter gowns that are not bought in their shoppe? I'm planning to purchase my gown from Pearl's Place and have it shipped here, and I'm definitely not 5'10", even with heels - gonna have to have that taken up! I just don't want to end up having to wear big ol' platforms 'cuz no one is willing to alter my gown if I didn't purchase it from them. Thanks!

What/where is WP?  I'd like to get alterations done by her as well if so many people recommend her.

You can also call Holly at Solutions Bridal in WP. She is great and works on outside dresses.

I met with Judi today.. I absolutely love her!! I went in preparing for her "comments"--but didn't get any. She was giving compliments and was helpful with all my concerns!! I am looking forward to seeing her alternation work.  Thank you all for referring me to her.
