Halloween

Hi all,Were comng to Florida from the Uk to get married on October 28th. We have decided to have a party in our villa on halloween cos we figure it will be pretty busy out and about. My question is....in the UK children go halloweening and knock door to door asking for candy. Does this happen in Florida? Mainly so we can get some candy in but also so we can let our children know before we go if they are allowed to do this! Thanks

Our anniversary is October 28!! (Our DATING anniversary) It will be 7 years this year! How old are the kids? There are theme parks around that do Halloween things... I dont know if you'd wanna check into that :-)

Yes, they do. You may also want to check out trick or treating at Downtown Disney. It is free and a lot of fun for kids. =)

In theory they do but it depends on where you live. I've lived in an apt. complex and a condo community for six years and I've never ever had a trick or treater since I moved here. I don't know why.

I think nowadays people do the theme park halloween thing or take them to the mall to trick or treat just because there is so much to worry about these days,,, kidnappings and finding stuff in candy.

We didnt want to go out anywhere as we know everywhere will be really busy and were a party of 28! We have children age 18 months, 5, 5, 8, 9, 9, 12 and more upover. Im sure theywill be happy with our party but just wondered. We are staying in a villa on H and see if we get any callers. HIghlands reserve golf course and I think its a fair bit of residential so maybe we will play it by ear, see if we get any trick or treaters on the night. Thanks :)
