Help with wedding bands!

Just wondering if you got your hubby a platinum band (no diamonds), where did you go and did you get a decent price?My husband is dead set on platinum...which has been a huge pain...but I'm having trouble finding a place that carries it. And to top it all off, it's so freaking expensive! I'm trying to talk him out of it but I figured I'd check and see if anyone knew any good places to go. :-)

    our jeweler here in nyc made his custom and we bought when platinum prices were super low. if you want, give him a call and let him know what you are looking for (ie ring thickness 4mm / 5mm/etc and if you want high dome/low dome, comfort fit etc) and he can give you an estimate. he is very reasonable and does excellent work. his name is frank / frank pollak & sons [url]http://frankpollakandsons.jewelry.1stdibs.com/store/jewelry_search.php?FRID=ZWOTYWY%253D[/url] (800)342-3878 / frank@diadust.com (tell him vanessa and leo say hi) all of our rings were custom, incl the e-ring and my diamond eternity band. oh yeah, if you order from him, you won't be paying sales tax (since you'd be from out of state). if you want to know what we paid for his band, email me gorjush at yahoo dot com

    You can try Jewlery Plus in Casstleberry they do custom as well or they can order something for you. Metals are up right now and Plat. just closed at $1317.00 so it is definatly going to be more expensive but you only get one wedding ring right!

    We got our rings from the Diamond Exchange on E. Colonial and Maguire Rd (by fashion square mall). Eli was our sales rep and he was amazing and their prices can't be beat. The thing I like about them is that they will go down considerabley on their prices because they are family owned and operated. IHTH!
