Spray Tan Advice....

Okay so I have a shoot on Saturday and I need to be tan... So I was going to go and get sprayed somewhere by an actual person vs those spray tan booth things... Any advice on anywhere that is good, and any tips? I saw it said to exfoliate really good and then apply my best moisturizer the night before, and not put anything on the day of... Anything else, I heard about some lotion afterwards to put on to help it.. but cannot remember for some reason.... And yes I am up at 4:48am because I cant sleep... stupid back!Ok thanks :-)

I love spraytanning:)  In Orlando, I have gone to a few places and have found Exclusive Tans on Sand Lake Drive to be the best for me. I don't feel as sticky after as some other places.  I really never do the exfoliating or moisturizing thing.  I've heard that moisturizing helps it last longer and I really should do that. My advice:You shouldn't wash it off for about 8-10 hours.  I would recommend making sure you shave and do your hair before your appointment (at least how you want your hair for the next few hours)You can't exercise or get wet after.  Bring an umbrella if you think it's going to rain.Wear dark, loose clothing.  They say don't wear a bra after, but I don't go by that rule!  Just know that it may stain a little.Take your time after they spray you to dry off in the fan.  Take even 5-10 minutes if you need it.  They have you stand in front of a fan. The dryer you feel before you put clothes on the better.  When you go home you can put on some baby powder if you want to make  sure it stays dry.The tan has a bronzer in it and it will look darker and darker as the hours progress.  Don't freak out, when you wash it off, it will look like a normal tan.Packages and prices don't include tips.  You don't have to tip, but I always feel bad when I don't have any cash on me. I don't think you can add it to the credit card.I usually go after work and when I'm not going out that night and sleep with my tan.  It may get on your sheets a little though.I usually wear a thong and nothing else.  Make sure your undies are not too expensive. They usually spray your total body twice.  I always ask for my face twice too and then look in the  mirror to see if I think everything looks good.I've had a bad experience at the spray tan booth, so I think this is the way too go!Hope your back feels better!

I think SarahSmile mentioned the Body Wrap place for tans. I was thinking about doing the clear one, where it's a clear spray on thing that just chemically activates your natural glow (or some crap like that, I probably misinterpreted what the girl said).

Kelly at Airbrush Tan FL is my favorite. I always use the "natural" or clear solution. It's less messy! 407-677-7222.I'm too tired to type right now, but I can give you some tips on gmail in a bit lol.

All I know is that if you get rained on afterwards, you will spot like a leopard. It is not a good look....

I second Body Wrap on Aloma for airbrush tans. I've been quite a few times and have always been happy with the results.  One time it was pouring when I was finished and they actually pulled my car up for me and walked me out using a HUGE golf umbrella.  Hence - preventing the leopard look!  :)

I'm not sure about the body wrap tanning place for cost...I know the Sand Lake one usually has packages where you can get 5 for $125.

Does the airbrush tanning make you smell weird? like how the stuff out of the bottle smells? I don't care for that smell.
