e-pics question

What time of day did you ladies do your epics? About 3 mos ago we had originally set up a time of 530 pm and that was fine for a weekday...but now the photog sent me an email saying 9:00 am...our pics were for this Tues the 13th...I told her about the mixup and how I am a school teacher and can't take a day off with that much short notice...I haven't heard back yet..but I was just wondering if the time really makes a difference. Also, how long did your session take on average?

We did ours at 5:30. I know timing is important because of the lighting. I would just reschedule, e pics are so much fun and you dont want to feel rushed through them or stressed out because of them! :-)

that kind of mix up would really irritate me. My dad did mine and it was on the beach at sunset on a saturday (new smyrna).

I really do not think you should have to miss work for e-pics because she had a scheduling error. My photog did ours on a Sunday because she knew that we both teach. Would this be an option? Our epics were not very traditional so I think they took longer than most do but they were just a few hours.

early morning or late afternoon is the best time for pics when it comes to lighting. I personally like late afternoon pics better. I did my pics around 6 PM

Double check with her on the scheduling error. As other PPs stated, I'm sure her time block is to take the "natural light" into consideration.Let us know how it goes!

I agree about rescheduling, you definitely don't want to feel rushed and lighting makes a huge difference.

Thank you so much ladies! I love my photog! I just got a confirmation email telling me that 530 will be great since my locations are close together. They also said that they haven't had a chance to shoot where I suggested and they had tons of ideas for that area! I feel so much better now! Thanks again for the encouraging words! I can't wait to show you girls how they come out!

I always try to schedule sessions for about an hour before sunset. I'm not a morning person, but a little after sunrise is great too.  Glad it worked out!

We did them in the late afternoon. I think it sounds like you need to reschedule. I personally couldn't afford to take the day off....even if it wasn't short notice with the way jobs are with teachers right now. We took pictures for about an hour and a half.
