ok - i'll go first...I have a tie.  Once I went to a work holiday party with a friend....strictly friends BUT he was my date.  A group of us decided to go downtown after the party.  Well, my lovely date met someone he wanted to take home so he left.  Most of our friends left and were on their way back to Brevard.  My car was at his place and I started to freak out.  Thankfully we had run into other people who let me crash at their place for the night then took me to my car in the morning.  Dude def not my friend anymore. The other time, an ex begged me to go to a Magic game with him.  Made me pay for my only ticket (not a big basketball fan and he begged me to go) then when we got there, the cheap seats were gone so we had to pay extra and he was an all around jacka$$ all night long included a major freak out when traffic didn't move fast enough.

I did the online dating thing before I started dating FI, and I met alot of strange characters, and had alot of bad dates lol. But, the date that comes to mind is the body builder. He was totally gorgeous, I usually don't care about looks but this guy looked like a young Antonio Sabato Junior with an even buffer body, lol. That fantasy ended as soon as he opened his mouth, lol... He was rude to the waitress, totally arrogant, he specially ordered his meal to be cooked with no oil, salt or fat of any kind and only ate like 3 bites of chicken... I ordered a normal pasta dish and he stared at me eating the whole time and asked if I was going to "eat all that". He talked about himself and his workout plan the entire time. Oh yea, and he also sent me home on the train instead of giving me a ride home. He called me for weeks after that wanting another date... No thanks buddy! Guys who are that good looking are used to women fawning all over them and not having to even try.

Ok, so I had been at work and at the time, it was a Friday, and I may hae been packing up the office or something, because for whatever reason, I was dressed really casual- like jeans with a few small rips (bought that way, but still ripped) and a tank top. So this guy I was kind of seeing called me and asked me to come over and hang out after work, so I did. After a bit, he got a phone call and said he was hungry, so we were going to go grab something to eat- no big deal. So we're driving and he pulls into someone's driveway and out come his friend and his friend's girlfriend. And they're dressed up. Apparently, this guy had planned a double date with them and didn't tell me because I guess he thought I wouldn't go. (We had talked about "us" and I had previously told him that I didn't want to date him until I got to know him better) So there we are at Kobe's Steakhouse for dinner and I'm looking like I've been cleaning all day while everyone else is all dressed nicely. Then he made me pay for my dinner and part of his because he didn't have much cash on him.

Actually, maybe it was the time when we actually had plans to go out for dinner and then at the last minute, he got a call from a friend and took me to a party instead at someone's house where I didn't know anyone, and then he got drunk and tried to throw me in the pool, and then told me I need to chill out because I didn't find it funny.

Hmmmmm, I guess that would be the guy I went swing dancing with (only ONCE) at UCF. We had a mutual friend who thought we'd be good dancing partners. Actually, I don't think it was supposed to be a date, but it's a funny story. He was a freshman and I was a junior (earning my Spanish BA at the time). I'll preface the rest by saying I'd driven across campus to the swing lesson that night. We had a nice time dancing, and he was really good at swing...so that part was okay. But he tried to French kiss me in the parking lot at the end of the night, and then had the nerve to ask for a ride back to his dorm! I gave him a ride back (to this day I don't know why), but on the way, he told me he wanted me to be his girlfriend, just so he could say he had one! I told him NEVER to say that to a girl, I certainly wouldn't be his gf, and just about kicked him outta my car.
