I HATE invite questions (from guests)

I absolutely HATE wedding invitation questions!!! If it doesn't say guest, you don't have one. If it doesn't say and family or all your siblings listed, they aren't invited. Ahhhhh it's so awkward!! Ok, I'm better :-)

haha. Good luck with them. Honestly that's one of the only things I'm dreading that I'm sure will come up sooner or later.

That really sucks to be put on the spot with questions like that..... I invited about 90-100 people & I only got the question "will I be able to bring a guest with me" once. It was my friend of a long time & she wanted to bring her brother (who I know) because she didn't want to be alone. I did let it slide because out of all my guests she was the only one that asked. She is a very good friend of mine & I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable & want to leave early the day of my weddding. I was actually very surprised she was the only one that asked this... I was a little scared how many times I would have to explain "if their name isn't on the invitation than they are not invited".

I invited just about every single person with a guest so I could avoid all questions and uncomfortable situations and yet we still have people saying can they bring so and so's sister because the sister can't attend...We also made a wedding website that answers EVERYTHING... meal choices, how to book your hotel room, etc and we still got the same questions over and over again. I swear people didn't even read their invites! It was so annoying!

I pretty much avoided a lot of those questions by making statements to random relatives in the beginning.  For example: "Hey grandma, Cousin doesn't have a girlfriend right? No, oh good, that's one less person because you know I'm paying for this myself and we don't have money for extra people!" "Hey other cousin! Aren't you glad you're going to get an adult weekend for the wedding? I love weddings with no kids cause it really lets the parents relax and enjoy themselves! Oh, wait, I won't be able to see her? It's okay, I'll come visit you guys soon!" Totally rude, but it got the point across.

Omg Alexia that is too funny. Oh and YES, the hotel thing is almost a daily question, along with asking about our registry. Sometimes I think making the website was almost a waste, even though I go on there almost daily lol.
