    What's your budget?  Are you looking only within the US or internationally, too?  Are you two accomplished skiers or beginners?

    We ski in Aspen every year and love it, but I wouldn't recommend it to beginner skiers.  In Colorado, I also like (in this order) Steamboat Springs, Vail, and Breckenridge.  Big Sky is beautiful but often very cold, IMO.  My other favorite in the Rockies is Park City, UT- my second-favorite ski town!

    In California, Lake Tahoe is very pretty but a little smaller.  Out east, Killington and Stowe are my favorites, but I don't think they even compare to anything in the Rockies.
